I think once cameras became able to move data around fast enough, adding video simply became a matter of software. Point-and-shoot cameras have had primitive video capability for a very long time now. Removing it now wouldn't save any money.

I don't particularly like physical video controls getting in the way of still photo controls. Case in point: The non-reassignable video record button on the NX200 taking the place of the AEL button.

The wi-fi has a lot of potential use. Potential being the key word. It would be very nice to be able to push a button on the camera and have it automatically connect to my wireless network and FTP the files where I want them. That would do the same thing as a USB cable or moving cards but save time.
