Canon is not saying that it won't affect the image. They are saying that the affect is not noticeable . Those are two very different things. Personally, I find the nuance buried in this wording quite disturbing. What sayeth thee?

If it is not noticeable, then how was it noticed in the first place?

Not for its effect on the captured image, as the original videos show.

But for its effect on the AE reading through the top LCD.
