Bounce the built-in flash

IIRC you can actually bounce the built-in flash on an EPL1 (as with this illustration of the GF2)

I did this all the time on my GF2, because of the limited flash power it works best with a fast lens and a low ceiling, but in the right location it completely transforms indoor flash shots.

DPR did some further tests of this technique on the GX1 review

is it possible to take good photos indoor low light conditions, say like in a cafe without using external flash?

if can how? as in setting and equipment used.

currently my kit is the epl 1, pana 20mm, oly 45mm, oly 9-18mm.

can i do it with my current kit? if not what lens would i need? I usually use the 20mm or 45mm for indoor low light shoot but at times it is still too dark.
