Nikon poor supply and demand re D800

By the way Michel, I did ask Nikon for help to no avail. They are not really equipped to manage supply and demand situations, and refer their customers back to the distributors, to whom they give no information about order status.
Nikon seems incapable of matching orders with production plans, and communicating a matching and the output of that matching in terms of Estimated Time of arrival of the merchandise back to the retailers.
In modern times I find this hard to accept.
I had the same issue back in 2007 with my D3, but I thought that by 2012 systems evolution and process evolution would have taken them to the next level.
It didn't happen.
Very disappointing.
Thanks for your offer to help, anyway. Very kind of you.
Miguel
