Liveview D800 focusing question

Live view focusing (Contrast based AF) is deadly accurate. I would not reccomend manual focus on live view....but zooming in to 100% to check all is in focus based on your one contrast based AF choice would not be a bad thing.

Then personally I would put the focus (once established) on manual and use MLU to take the shot.

Best of both worlds. Live view focus, and MLU vibration free capture.

But that is just me. I take each shot as if it will become my next best seller.
