Anyone who doesn't want the maximum DR range simply doesn't know fewmets about photography. It is the key to opening up shadows and highlights, and allows high ISO's. At any point in time, maximum DR is limited by the current technology. As time goes by, DR range increases. So finding some past work and saying it was done with what now seems a limited DR does not mean that it could have been done better and more easily with todays technology.

Canon's technology is falling further behind every day - Only a Canon fanboy would think that was a good thing.
