Sigma vs Canon 60D and 5D Experience

DMiller, please speak from experience and not look for a way to question someone's competence Please show me an example that proves your rule. I shot photos using an 85mm at 2.8 using both a Canon 5D and 60D and they looked different to me. If the 16mp camera didn't do as well as the 10mp camera why would I go down to 2mp? You are probably right about photos taken of a city skyline at a high f-stop, but for the photos I take, low DOF and mood lighting, your rule would put many professional photographers out of business (even if all they did was post photos on the internet)
