Surprise functions with the D800

There are a number of functions I did not expect on the D800 that come as nice surprises.
You can use the physical aperture ring on CPU lenses to set aperture, if you change the setting f9 > Aperture Setting to "Aperture ring" instead of "Sub-command dial".
You can choose ISO directly with the command dial, if you set d7 to "Show ISO/Easy ISO".
The display of the DX area in the viewfinder can be changed with a5 "AF point illumination". If set to "Auto" or "On", the DX area is indicated with a thin black line. If it is set to "Off", the area outside the DX area is darkened. Don't ask me for the logic of using a5 for those options.
Feel free to add other nifty options, if there are some other obscure features lurking in the shadows of the D800's settings and buttons.
