Are Some Leica Owners Too Touchy

The Leica is a great for what it has been designed for: a small, portable, self contained, fast action and multiple shot camera. But the truth is that for many things it just isn't the best.

Street photography with 35mm or 50mm lens, its great.

Close up photography, it sucks.

Portable camera which is easy to carry, its great.

Anything longer than a short telephoto, it sucks.

Do my comments demean the camera, of course not. All scientific instruments are designed and made for a purpose and do badly outside their design parameters. A microscope is not a telescope and an volltmeter can't measure flour does this reflect on what they can do?

Some Leica owners need to lighten up and some Leica detractors need to concentrate on the Leica's merits.
