Taking back the night, volunteer photographer

I volunteered as a photographer for a university event called "Take Back the Night." It's an event when men and women come together to rally against gender based violence, mostly concerning sexual assault. Lots of powerful stories during the event, and I was glad to be able to capture some of the moments.

Night shots were tough, but I was pretty happy with the results overall. It was the first time shooting at night with the D90.
