So tools are irrelevant?

Who, besides you, said that "tools are irrelevant?"

Well it wasn't me - the ? at the of my sentence means its a question not a statement by me.

You are surely at least questioning the level of relevance of tools in getting the photographic results you are after?

Taking your statement all the way I can't say "I am unhappy with taking action shots indoors because I get too much noise with my Nikon D2x". Or "I find it hard to time these motorbikes doing jumps because of the .5 sec shutter lag on this P&S".

As you can see the features and abilities of tools can actually assist some photographers in getting the results they are after in a more consistent manner.

If low level ISO DR is helpful to me why not complain when camera X doesn't do it as good as I think it should?
