Would anybody give up LCD real estate for better ergonomics

In my case, having big hands, I'm sure it will be a bit getting used to the small control lay-out area, with subsequently small and closely spaced buttons.

I would be more than happy to have a smaller LCD screen and better Ergonomics for the Control Area.

With the advent of currently reasonable good quality EVF's with just about all the settings available there I would be happy with half the LCD screen size or going to the extreme of doing away with it altogether. (Including Video, but that's another story)

It seems that with the new m43rds camera's that IQ is not the limiting factor anymore compared to the bigger SLRS's, but being small, (for most the appeal of this format) the control parts seems to be suffering and possibly stop a lot of SLR user from embracing it.

I'm not that fussy and will work my way around the OMD's limitations and will get used to the small buttons.
