Canon 400 5.6 sample shots

Yes - I retried the 1.4 Extender today but confirmed that it doesn't work for me. To clarify: it works (with manual focus) but after cropping the picture without the extender I have the following benefits: slightly sharper pic, gain on either speed, ISO, or f stop and wider view. Therefore I feel that it is a waste of time putting it on in the first place. It adds weight also. Mine (along with a 2X ) are going on EBay.
