Canon has spent too much R&D time on the video aspect. Nothing really new in terms of DSLR photo. Minor upgrades. Ef lens - upgrades to existing lenses. Nothing new except a 8-15. Nothing groundbreaking in the past few years. But look at their C line. Both cams and lenses. Their lack of DSLR technology development will show in Canons DSLR profit this year.

Might be a good kick in a$$ for them to get back to what they do best!!!!

11,7 dr...similar to micro beter invest in some good new sensor. is 4 years behind the competition. too much focus on video integration than stills in my opinion.

The 5D3 is a great camera, especially at low ISOs. The biggest disappointment is that its sensor is not better than the 3.5 yo 5D2's.
