If I had to choose between Tamron 28-75 BIM and 28-105 I'd pick the Nikon. Yup I hated the focus on the Tamron that much.
If you can afford 1K I'd consider the 24-120F4 on FX
The 24-120 older VR is also worth a consideration. It is hated by many for being one of worst lense, but for 300-400 used having VR and being FX you can't complain when you compare against what else is out there.
