as I said in my post, I am using an externa camera monitor, the Zacuto Electronic Viewfinder which is connected to my camera through 6ft long HDMI cable. Picture quality is outstanding, focusing is easy and precise, playback is fantastic. However though, 5D Mk 2 only outputs the signal when the Live View is on. That lasts 30 seconds. I know about the heat build up and I don't mind pressing the button if only it wasn't on the body only. I'd like to do that when I'm not rigth next to the camera.
