does anyone use their LCD to adjust colors?
In reply to Anthony Sae-Chua, Apr 18, 2012

When I'm out in the field shooting there is no way I would any camera LCD for accurate colors, even if it was good. It's too small, but more importantly, wherever I am, the lighting conditions are different and changing. It's really not a way to judge and adjust colors.

I'm not saying there is an excuse for a bad LCD. But it sounds like all they did is adjust the color temperature.

I personally shoot with Uniform White Balance so my colors are totally off on the LCD. I know I can adjust colors in post as i like and there is no point is wasting time on location to get it right. So all I focus on is get the exposure optimized using UniWB.
