This doesn't make any sense. The only reason to have CDAF on a DSLR is so you can focus when no light is on the AF sensor. In the DSLT the light is always on the AF sensor unless you remove the mirror, which you say is not possible.

Why include CDAF when PDAF is always on and much better?
