I have been doing my Black and White and toned work with Topaz Black and White Effects and find it very good and often dramatic, with many different subtle presets for toning and film and paper types. Now I find it almost impossible not to look at every shot I like in color as B&W and Sepia, usually in several different shades. I even reached the point where I started making duplicate galleries on my website for more or less the same photos or locations in each of the three:

Now, for even more fun, since I started testing the Beta of Photoshop CS6, I decided not to install my CS5 plug-ins which can get messy, so I have been just using the B&W adjustment layer which has infinity adjustable toning.
