Convert D300 to IR?

I recently picked up a 2nd used D700 for my wedding photography, and thought I'd sell the D300. Unfortunately, it seems I can't really let it go for a decent price, so rather than give it away, I am considering an IR conversion. The plan would be to use IR for B&W wedding photos.

• Any recommendations as to which shop to use for the conversion?

• Has anyone tried this on a D300, and if so, how did it work out?

• In particular, how does high ISO work with IR? (I'm thinking the grain might give a nice retro look)
