Not thinking so. Take the D7000 or K-5 sensor, take the AA filter off, re-arrange the CFA (color filter array) to eliminate moire, and you have the Fuji X Pro1. I would think every aspect of image quality on the X Pro 1 would be improved relative to the K-5 and D7000 (which are both very good), since there is less light lost from no AA filter and moire is suppressed by using a pseudo-random CFA.

The tradeoff is processing power, the Fuji probably uses some more processing time or more complicated hardware to perform the demosaicing portion of creating the JPEG from the RAW.
