But, on the wide end the 15-85 IS on a crop body does better than the 24-105 on a FF body -- The digital picture shows this.

Sorry, it does not. At equivalent setting, the FF combo wins by a comfortable margin:

This is also confirmed by PZ and DXO.

Not to mention it is much slower (in eq. terms).

The 15-85 4 stop IS is better.

Its IS is better than the IS on the 17-55 and the 24-105, I guess, I give you that.

And since for my 60d + 15-85 IS -- I got on special for $1500, the price is half of the FF combo....give me that one too please...

And the combo I have gets 106-136 mm (FOV) - that is certain...give me that one also please

In any case, as you stated earlier in this thread -- not wise to switch from crop to FF over the normal zooms. I look at tons of pics, and these normal zooms are mostly "zoomed out" (full body groups, etc) and mostly one cannot tell the difference when they are stopped down beyond f2.8. The reason for FF are the primes imo --where one can see the dramatic shallow dof and the sharpness and clarity of the FF pics. But seeing this in a zoom stopped down -- NOT...

Comparing pictures at this resolution, downsized by Flickr (in my case) is probably meaningless but anyway, here is a shot with the 24-105 on the 5D2:
