IMHO... the NEX 5n is the better bang for the buck, at half the price of the NEX 7 you can ad the view finder for $ 350 and still come in under the cost of the 7.
I bought the NEX 7 and returned it for a 5n as I found the out of the camera pic. quality better, got the EVF and a Sigma 30mm and am very pleased with this set-up.
You won't go wrong either way.
