B&H seem to be getting these in regularly, so I wouldn't delay and would reserve my place in line. When I ordered mine they were also out of stock, but it was only like a four day wait until they got more in and ship.
I've found the Sigma 30mm worth the wait and more than worth the minor inconvenience. It's a keeper, for sure.
