Sony A580 Owners- Autofocus

I am also experiencing inconsistent focussing .

When testing on a focus chart is seems there is a certain 'area' were it accepts focus and gives focus confirmation with emphasis at backfocous. and I do focussing with center spot only.

Also in the dark dim lit area's using studio studio strobes via an MF confirmation is impossible. The screen is simply black in life view. When I put on a compatible flash the screen brightens but the I cannot have the lightning like I want it.

If sony had an higher end OVF camera I might consider that to get these fairly 'simple' features we want but this is currently the highest end camera with OVF I could get
