Reading Philip Blooms blogs about his impression on the 5DIII and more recently his take on the Canon dSLR C 4k camera he seems to be having a dig at somebody possibly a rival reviewer? Read the last bit

were default settings were used for JPEGs?

looking forward to the third comparo (video)

i'd imagine default settings to be the norm for comparisons

if there is pp involved, i had read from Philip Bloom his interesting take on use of 'sharpening filter' that makes a big difference for the 5DMkIII where it didn't help at all for 5DMkII.

Hey everyone,

I just finished cutting the second part of my three part video comparison between the 5D Mk III and the D800. This one is with Mike Drew, a well respected photojournalist, shooting action in extreme low light.

If you missed the first part, with portrait and studio shooting, it can be found here:

I'm looking forward to your feedaback and any questions you may have.
