XZ-1 - is there a minimum shutter setting?

I had a look in the manual but I can't seem to find anything. The camera wants to shoot at really low shutter speeds at low ISOs in Program mode. I'm talking about low light shots indoors. I'm used to either setting the minimum shutter speed in the menus or with most cameras they just boost the ISO automatically to keep the shutter speed up. I'm just surprised that the XZ-1 thinks 1/5 or 1/8 of a second are acceptable.
Do I need to change my shooting style in these type of situations or is there something in the menus that will let me set a minimum shutter speed?
