My NEX 5 Can Be Fooled But My NEX 7 Can't!

'Interesting observation I just stumbled upon this morning. I have both a NEX 5 and a NEX 7 body. I have several Sony brand NP-FW50 batteries plus a couple of aftermarket models by two different manufacturers. As long as I only had the NEX 5, all was well, but now, if I put one of the 3rd party batteries in my NEX 7 it bucks and says "INCOMPATABLE BATTERY-USE CORRECT MODEL". Sometimes I have to start operating the camera a couple of minutes before it thwows up this screen. I guess Sony has smartened up the NEX 7 to sell more of those $60 batteries. Maybe the very latest 3rd party batteries out now have worked around this. These that I have are several months old and were produced before the NEX 7 ever came into being. Has anybody else seen this happening?
