multipshot panorama, need help with lens correction
Apr 14, 2012

Hi all,

I'm experimenting with some panoramic shots created with a 24-105mm set at 24mm taking about 6-7 shots to form a 180 degree pano.

In photoshop I am using photomerg and using the auto setting I get results like this.

Is there anyway now that I can lens correct the image and bring it more flat horizontal (get the white areas filled out more) so that I can get it somewhere close to square for a crop etc? If I can reduce the horizontal roundness in the middle of the image that is also what I am trying to do.

I've had bit of a play with the lens correct filter but have had not much luck, or do I need to manually try and correct the image?

Obviously in future I am looking at more appropriate landscape lenses etc

Any help would be great
