Batch processing IR files to remove red tint????

I have a Sigma camera that I use for infrared shooting and the images out of the camera have a red tint that can be removed by converting to grayscale resulting in a nice IR file. I would like to batch process groups of these files so I don't have to do it individually. I use Windows and have PS CS5, Lightroom 3, IrfanView (a neat free program), and Nik Silver Efex Pro 2.

I would appreciate any sugestions and a little step-by-step help.
