@Mike Cialowicz

Im with you man, If your not using your camera in all situations your just snappin pix. If you have a hi end camera it will withstand the elements. Ive taken my D50/D300/D300s/D7000 in every condition - rain, sleet, snow,ice, sandy, foggy, dry, humid, freezing, desert and its NEVER failed me. I even cracked the frame of my D7000 and took it hiking in Colorado in the snow and its still rockin the photos. Just don't be stupid with it and you will be fine.

Wipe it down and keep shootin.....

Don't be afraid to use your tool, whats the point of having it if your not using it?

And when I get my D800, if it cant stand up against a little rain compared to the other Nikons Ive owned, Ill put up a fight and send it back one way or another.
