G3 + 14-42 + 45-200 new proud owner

Hi all,
Finally took the plunge, after months wondering if I should dither a little longer ...
After a Canon A710, I've had some years with an FZ28, but never got good photos at the long end of the zoom and was yearning for a better EVF ...
The G3 seems very well built: you don't feel short-changed ...
1st shots at 400mm equivalent are SHARP (for me) ! (Am I right that 200mm ยต4/3 = 400mm equivalent ? so I should be shooting min at 1/400 sec ?)
I'm looking forward to enjoying it on a few trips and meetings planned over the next few weeks.
Does anyone have any advice on settings ? I'm no specialist (but am reading Michael Freeman's books ... where there's a will there's a way) ...
should I limit ISO (like I did on the FZ to max 200, which didn't work miracles ...) ?
I usually use "A" mode, to get short depth of field and fast speeds for least chances of shake
Exteriors: people, buildings, countryside, sports (motorbikes ...)
Interiors: I take photos if possible without flash under "warm white" home lighting
Videos: v little experience, but I want to do more ... what format, settings (did a very nice video of a jazz concert on a S95 recently ... the artists were delighted !) ?
Any recommendations for a good bag, for this combo ?
Thanks in advance for any help you can offer
