D4 becoming available in UK

Just had a call from Jacobs where I had a D4 on pre-order since January 6th. They have a D4 available (£5299) and wondered if I wanted it. I explained that I had changed my order to a D800 with Mathers. They did say that they had received around 30x D4 and 80x D800 so far. Indeed the guy I spoke with had had five spare D800 that day but had sold them (£2599) already.

He explained that as a Nikon Professional outlet, Jacobs receive new stock with some priority over the likes of Jessops and co.

I'm going to wait a few more weeks to see if Mathers come through with my order (£2099) and then maybe see how desperate I feel.

I was tempted by a D4 but with the new price being £3200 more than my D800 order I am sure I can wait. The shop I spoke with was Jacobs Newcastle, UK.
