Eye FI Android app and alternative Blue tooth plug on
In reply to pxpaulx, Apr 13, 2012

Ah an eye-fi Android app instead of the hassle of an FTP set up. Great news.

Also PENs and I guess the OMD EM-5 can have a blue tooth sender gadget attached, which sits on the hot shoe. They also have of course a very kind feature of built in wireless flash release so the loss is not so bad.

I thought Bluetooth would be too slow, but in fact it has a pretty good FTP methodology and may well work as fast as the eye-fi. It would be interesting to compare real world file transfer times between the two systems, as I was suprised at olympus's claims about the speed of their blue tooth sender.
