...but what is this good FOR?

Back in my all-prime shooting days, I found the 135mm (+ or -, equivalent) to be the LEAST useful FL of them all. It was/is too long for attractive portrait perspective, and was/is too short for birding and such.

One of my old primes is the uber-classic Nikkor 105/2.5. It is brilliantly sharp and contrasty right up to wide open, and has gorgeous bokeh. But on my DX format DSLR, with the 1.5x crop factor, I have found no good use for it.

So I really am curious how people plan to use the Oly 75, and I'm not trolling. I hope fans of this FL will explain what they plan to use it for, and avoid flaming.

...Happy shooting, Ed
