If there's a difference between the cameras, you'll never notice the difference by looking at the photos on your computer. The real difference is with the photographer. A talented photographer (not me) can go out with a cheap point and shoot and come back with beautiful photos; photos I could never get with my 5N.
If you're moving up from a point and shoot, you'll be VERY happy with either the C3 or 5N.
