The 'Bells and whistles' or all the extra stuff you get today when you buy a modern appliance like a car or camera. You receive (and pay for) lots of gadgets but you don't always use them!

I tend to use my K5 in the AP mode, hardly touch the others. But that is because I had to use my Russian Zenith that way. I continued in the same way with my MX and the rest is history.

Yes I would buy a manual camera if it was the size of the MX/LX and therefore also FF.

Without the bells and whistles, but I am not sure if todays generation would have the patience to learn how to use it. Each generation grows up with its own technology, it's hard to return to the past. But I guess we will have to the way the world is burning up its natural resources.
