My D800 focus woes

What other lenses tested? If it works with all but one, maybe it is the lens that reveals problems on this high density sensor. A lens could have a decentered element, causing the same woes. It might not reveal it on a less dense sensor, although the error may be in there.

So, it is a tilt of the focus point plane. Two adjustment screws, can be taken care of by Nikon repair center.

Not sure about that as it works perfectly with my other lenses, also I tested the lens with my D300 and is spot on!

At trhe momment I am exploring some of the video features of the D800 but if there's no way to fix this via firmware soon I will have to send the camera in.

I doubt they will be able to turn screws via firmware
