I just returned from my first trip with the X-Pro 1 having taken an X100 on several earlier trips. It's a tough call really. The X-Pro 1 with the 18mm is better if you are in confined areas and need the wider field of view (I was in old walled towns in Italy). The X100 was always great and the slighter smaller size makes it much easier to slip into a pocket, especially compared to the X-Pro 1 with the 35mm. I managed nicely with the X-Pro 1 and the extra lens in a small Billingham travel bag, however, and did not find it "DLR oppressive" in size after a little while of getting used to the switch from the X100. By definition the X-Pro will be more versatile if you have multiple lenses, though I found that the 18mm was a great all-around focal length.

The image quality is pretty close in most situations so it really comes down to the lens/focal length question.
