I think Brent meant good luck to the Argentines caught up in the street protest, not good luck to Argentina against the Falklands.

Although to many other nationalities it may have seemed like a pointless war over a few rocks it is actually much more important than that and is worth reading up on.

The Falklands are a self governing British Overseas Territory.

If the citizens decide they want to be totally independent or become part of Argentina they are free to do so. Britain would not stop them.

Much of what the British government & military do with small overseas territories is to provide vital aid, medical support, anti piracy patrols and disaster relief. Much of this is not well publicised and is why many of the overseas territories decide to stay as such.

I don't see how anyone living in a democracy can condone or ignore a self governing territory being forcefully taken over.
