About Sony HX9V flash.

two weeks ago I bougth a Sony HX9V and with the few photos that I have done the camera liked me enough.

I had a Panasonic TZ7/SZ3 and I have a Fuji F200EXR, it is now on sale, and I think that this Sony exceeds that in many things, in others the Fuji is higher but overall I'm happy with the Sony.
I have a doubt with the flash of the camera:

Can I reduce the intensity of the flash light in one option from the camera or know any way that this intensity can be regulated?
I think it is too strong and in places with little room light is exaggerated.

I'm not a person who retouching photographs so you have to do is a problem because I also do not know how.

I would appreciate your comments and advice.
