Speaking to a retailer, Nikon was closed two weeks ago for inventory!

In speaking with a retailer, they informed me Nikon was closed for 1 full week doing inventory. I assume this included the distribution channel and thus put a delay in shipments. I'm sure that also gives some time for production to catch up and once the distribution channels open up, they should be sending out more shipments.

I'm hoping this wasn't just one more excuse by a dealer covering for Nikon.
