D4 & D800 exposure bracketing question

The D4 can do 9 frames, 1EV apart OR UP TO 5 FRAMES 3 EV APART!!! So you can do a bracket of 5 with -+ 6EV! OR, you can do three frames -+ 3EV which is awesome for a quick handheld bracket for HDR. This is awesome and something I have been waiting for a while. I can confirm this to be the case. The D800 CANNOt, I repeat CANNOT do this. It's still stuck at 1EV limitations per frame.
