Camera Bag Recommendations!

I think it is probably wise to check them out in store if you can. Having said that, I live in a fairly remote part of Canada and have little opportunity to try something before buying. Instead, I looked at the equipment I wanted to carry and estimated the space it would occupy which gave me a pretty good idea on the size of bag I needed. Next, I assembled a list of "contenders", narrowed them down based on design and on-line reviews from other users. That method worked pretty well for me on a couple of occasions.

Now, I can tell you from personal experience that the Tamrac 5x was an excellent bag for me. Well made, durable and generally convenient in use, though not large by any means. I also own a Think Tank Retrospective 10. Again, this is a very well made bag, if a little heavy. Another brand that looks interesting to me is Tenba. I've never owned one, but they seem to offer some excellent design choices.
