D800 and Kennedy Space Center Photos - Amazing Detail
Apr 9, 2012

Took a trip to FL and brought the D800 and 24-120 f/4 lens only. These shots are from Kennedy space center of the Saturn V main engines and also an Apollo capsule in the museum there.

Both shot on tripod at f/8, ISO 100. Btw, Tripods are okay at Kennedy.

I can't believe the detail in the full resolution images. It's quite amazing. I love this camera and what I can now do with careful technique. I have some 20x30 prints coming today of these photos that I will check out. My first D800 prints

The full resolution images can be found here at my smugmug: http://smu.gs/HDSApH

I'll post some handheld shots soon of the 24-120 where the VR helped out greatly.

Nikon D800
