D700/D800 + Grip & FLASH Bracket QRS-E2
Apr 9, 2012

Has anyone used this Custom Brackets QRS-E2 Camera Rotation Bracket - Extended Version us$209

on a D700/D800 with a Grip mounted? and say a 70-200mm f2.8

1) Looks like you must buy the Custom Brackets CMP Universal Camera Mounting Plate as well for us$ 50 ... true?

2) Do you also need to buy the Custom Brackets Flash Bracket Adapter LF - Moves Flash Foward or Back 1, 2, or 3 Inches ... us$ 17

to get the sb900 right over the lens?

3) Does this bracket move the flash far enough away from the Flash , that in DX crop mode . 300mm you will NOT get "Red Eye" on a full body shot. (inside the DX crop)

If this bracket can eliminate the Red Eye issue completly at say up to 400mm ... this bracket would be usedful on some jobs.

Anyone have some experiance with this Flash bracket? and say any body with Grip?
