I think theres any number of legacy MF lenses available for peanuts that have fantastic optics, and that can be used with an adapter.

Manual focus is the downside, but for macro work, thats probably just fine.

For example I have an early 1990s Tamron SP 90mm, Nikon F mount, which has a great macro function that works at reasonable distance, that I plan to use with my E-M5 when it arrives.
