As promised here's the mounted lens. (Sorry about the long wait, I stripped the aperture activating screw and replaced it with an epoxied paperclip).

It's a very small lens!

Here is the mounted 50 f/2.8 and some samples wide open

and stopped down to f/5.6 or so (the click stops aren't perfect, given my hack mentioned above).

and further to f/11 or so

Considering the size, I thought it looked pretty good. Bokeh is a little nervous and stopped down there are only 5 aperture blades.

Biggest complaint is since it was from a rangefinder the minimum focus distance is fairly long (3 ft), that's less of an issue on this one than the 135mm lens which has a min focus distance of 13 ft.

It's a very compact system (about 3x as long as a body cap, I'd guess). Pretty nifty to find older glass that fits on a Nikon without a T/C adapter.
