Canon Powershot G1 X - Critique My Pic

I'm a beginner and it's my first time to use and own a high-end camera like the Canon Powershot G1 X. I would like to know from you how good or bad my shots are. Do you see something that I must improve? Missing?
I've been hearing a lot about lens adapter, filters and close-up lens. What can you recommend me to create a better image?
BTW, the pictures posted are not processed. Straight from my camera (I don't know how to post-process pics either).
