I love my A77, but now that I am starting to look for a travel lens... the selection is very weak. I love the Canon lens selection, but love my Sony camera. Yea, Sony has a selection of lenses...but if they released a range of lenses like they did for the NEX over the last 12 months..for the alpha, it would be wonderful. The 18250 needs serious updating to accommodate the 24mp sensor and more... and a new 70200 "beer can" would be nice for some. Me personally.. I would be happy with a weather resistant, updated 18250. Maybe make it in the G range, i'd snap it right up. On the other hand, the 70300G is an amazing lens, one of the best around.
